Thunderings from DHHS

This week we welcomed back our students for the final term. We’re excited to be back in session and learning! Grades for the third quarter will be sent home tomorrow. This week is Green Week at DHHS: carpool Thursday and join us at lunch Friday to plant more than 100 flowers. Drama students perform one-act plays and dramatic and comedic monologues at region drama competition at SUU, Thursday and Friday. Experience March Mayhem in the Desert, Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at DHHS. The event features basketball competitions between WCSD coaches and Impact of So. Utah and high school seniors vs. Team Raw, live music, food, prizes. Entrance donations: $5 for adults, $3 for students and $10 for families requested. Call Mr. Sharp of HOSA to make an appointment for Monday’s Blood Drive at DHHS. There will be a meeting for students interested in taking concurrent enrollment next year, Tuesday, April 6, 6-7 p.m. in the counseling center. Call for more information. Juniors should take the June 12 ACT if they haven’t already taken the college entrance exam. Go to www.actstudent.org to register. Support your DHHS spring sports teams: girls softball, track and golf and boys soccer, tennis and baseball.
