Thunderings

The second semester begins this week at Desert Hills High, and we’re looking forward to the second half of our inaugural year. Grades for last quarter will be sent home on Thursday. We encourage parents to use the Power School link on our school Web site, dhthunder.org, to stay current with their student's progress in all classes throughout the semester. Parents needing help with their password can call the counseling office for assistance (674-0885). We “Thunder” into action with a talent show on Wednesday, and boys’ and girls’ basketball, wrestling and swimming continue their seasons. Tenth graders will be preparing for the BSCT test on Feb. 3-5. Parent-teacher conferences will take place on those dates, as well. To bolster our students’ academic success, we will be enforcing our tardy policy, so please encourage your students to be on time to their classes. If you have questions about the policy, please give us a call.
